Think back to the first time a song or a story truly moved you. Maybe it was a colorful picture book that explained the rhythm of the drums, or a worn-out biography of a jazz legend that made you realize your own dreams were possible. At Play Positive Note, we see these moments happen every day, but we also see the barriers that stand in their way. For many young musicians in our community, the cost of a single method book or an inspiring music history guide is the difference between a dream that grows and one that fades away.
That is why we created the Melody Library Project.
We are building a nationwide library of inspiration. Our goal isn't just to collect "inventory," but to curate a collection of stories, guides, and scores that act as a gateway for any child to explore the world of music. From vibrant picture books for toddlers to advanced musical sheets for teen instrumentalists, every book we receive becomes a tool for self-expression.
